Asus Eee PC Packaging

While waiting for Jeremy's Twitter-cast, here is his report on the Asus Eee PC packaging -

Although the announced launch of the Asus Eee PC is already on the 16th, when I asked the Asus dealer in Guangzhou about the product,, they did not know what I as talking about! It was quite embarrassing.

Anyway, the good news is that the Eee PC might be available in pink soon. The Model 701 might be available black with white, while the 700 may be green, pink, orange and black and white. But this is mere speculation. It is best to refer to the official site.

This may be the Asus Eee PC retail packaging.

This is how the packaging looks when it is opened.

The accessories underneath the Asus Eee PC.

The original 4 cell battery.

Power cord.

Power Adapter.

The sleeve.

The Program CD but how do you install the programs? The Asus Eee PC does not come with a CD drive.

Operating Manual.

User Guide.

Warranty Card.

(Tentative) Optional accessories listed -

Asus USB Skype Phone UI

Asus mouse

Aus headphone and microphone

Lithium-Ion 6 cell battery

Wireless base station

verified. I did a "View Info", copied an image's URL (http://tw.f14.yahoofs.com/myper/g61MyMWYFQV_nKv2lSCtt1gG4.M/blog/ap_20071012114236457.jpg) and tried it in a new tab.

The result: A Yahoo 403 Error --

You do not have permission to get the requested URL from this server.

(BTW, I look forward to the pics.)

Thanks, Mark S.

Hi david, mr. markus,

Are you guys still having problems with the images? Will try to check further as the images show up fine on my notebooks.

Anyways, thanks for notifying me.

Hi david, mr. markus,

I have made some corrections and also added the links to both the original and translated blogs. Sorry for both the disappearing images and the omission on the links.

Thanks for your patience. :)

Hi bydiox,

Thanks but it is actually not my review. The post is an abbreviated repost of a review by a blogger named Jeremy. You can follow the link in the review to view the original article.

Regards.
