I'm curious about the conversion rate. I'm used to that term meaning the percentage of people who bought an item after looking at it. It that were 85%, it would mean that almost everyone who even looked at the page bought the item. That would probably rate among one of the great sales phenomena of all time.
Far more believable would be if 85% of the people who bought a PC after looking at this page got it, with the remaining 15% getting other PCs.
Do we have any context for which it is here.

My own interpretation (although I might be wrong) is similar to yours. 85% of those who bought a PC... as it also mentions 2% bought the Nokia N800.
Even with this interpretation, the conversation rate is still quite high.
